Perfect in Pastel
Do you have a photo of your favorite pet or person:
With too much redeye?
That is damaged?
That is too out of focus for display?
In which the background is too overpowering or the lighting is poor?
Artist Vanessa Giddens can turn almost any "Oops!" into a work of art that
says "Wow!"  Fine art makes a gift that can be cherished for generations
and creates a stunning showpiece for any room in your home.
If you are a dog and your owner
suggests you wear a sweater, suggest
he wear a tail.

"Pastel" is actually a broad term in the art world that technically refers to a dry medium
consisting of pure pigment in a binder.  While pastel is not paint, a work of art in pastel is
often called a painting.  Vanessa prefers this versatile medium to any other for portrait work
because of its blendable nature and true colors.  Vanessa works to emphasize the individual
expression of her subjects in her work and has been said to lend a "romantic" feel to her
portraits.  The personal style of the recipient is always taken into consideration.
